3rd graders listened to The Chupacabra Ate The Candelabra in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month before building their mini-candelabras and flashlights. They learned about making an electrical circuit as they connected lights to batteries -- and then making it their own!

Get ready to celebrate! We're thrilled to announce a new celebration to recognize our scholars who consistently demonstrate Accountable, Safe, and Kind behavior, as celebrated through our PBIS point system. Starting soon, we will recognize the top two point-earners from one rotating grade level every two weeks. These scholars will receive a token to use at our amazing new STEM vending machine. Please keep an eye out as we celebrate our students' positive behavior!

October is here, which means that it's Fall at the Farm in the library. Students last week were challenged to build something that belongs on a farm. We had groups build barns, pumpkins, creepy carrots, fences, and more. We love hearing them defend and demonstrate their creations.
